PUNKS016 – Stanton Warriors “Remixed Volume 2” Punks – BREAKS/DRUM n BASS
Feedback: TBA

The Stanton Warriors proudly present the latest Punks release “Remixed Volume 2”. This 3 tracker includes two remixes from Baobinga & I.D and D&B hot property Baron as well as a very special Stanton edit of the Baobinga & I.D remix. In case you didn’t know already Baobinga & I.D are Mancunians Sam Simpson and Ed Bayling, whose self-described "emotive-techno-breaks" are as much inspired by pummeling loop techno as they are by the syncopated rhythms of the breaks scene. Baron has been releasing records since 2002 and he shot to recognition in 2003 after remixing Total Science's Nosher which became a classic and made Baron a sought after remixer, producer and DJ in the Drum and Bass world.

Jaxson and Brede come with a touch of class on this release. Drumatic Stix ep shows all sides of the mind with touches into Chicago and Detroit style and vibes. With releases on such labels as KENO records, Freakwaves, and Highgrade . Brede and Jaxson are some of Berlin"s favorite exports. "Come On" includes words by: Tyree Cooper and this track takes you back to the early days of Fast Eddie and Tyree Cooper with a lil' hip house sample. A good tune for the prime hours of jacking on the dancefloor. "African Magadu" has a tribal approach with a quirk and a stripped down beat. It also takes the listener to the darker side of minimal with a deep echo and a hypnotic vibe, that sinks you deeper into your mind set. Rounding out the package is the title track "Drumatic Stix". This track lets you know why these guys are quickly touching down on all sides of the globe with their productions. This minimal banger is sure to be a dancefloor favorite. With a slip and a slide they bring the bass in and out of this track like water.
