4TRK018 – DJ Hyperactive “11thV” 4 Track Records – MINIMAL/TECHNO

*Receiving support from DJs: Danny Tenaglia, Derrick May, Laurent Garnier, Dave Clarke, Ken Ishii, Dubfire, Behrouz, Tony Rohr, Michel de Hey, Timo Mass, Jim Masters, DJ Misjah, Onionz, Punisher (Detroit), Lance Desardi, Droid Behavior, Drum Cell, Billy Dalessandro, Rob Warner

Dave Clarke – “The Developer mix is by far the best. Thanks! 4 out of 5”
Dubfire – “5 out of 5”
Behrouz – “I like both remixes and the original. All for different rooms. Will play them all! 4 out of 5”
Jim Masters – “so dark! 5 out of 5”
Punisher (Detroit) – “wow these tracks are nasty! Full support. 5 out of 5”
Michel de Hey – “nice oldskool flavoured techno. 4 out of 5”

DJ Hyperactive's 11thV project has been festering for nearly a year and finally now comes to surface. The original mix serves up a warping lead that carries the track and captures the essence of real minimal techno needing very little but just the right elements added taking us full circle to the very sounds that got us here to begin with. Next mix is a minimal workout by established Droid Recording artists, Audio Injection. Audio Injection's mix starts jabbing with a staccato synth line that quickly shape shifts into a flurry of efx and arrangement wizardry while tastefully offering glimpses of the original synth line that keeps you hooked and begging for more. Developer mix leans in the less conservative direction of composition. The big efx and layering of mental vocal loops, reminiscent of Distancia on 4TRK-014, take you over as the kick and haunting pads lead the way. Midway through Developer allows you to hear the spooky vocal solo just long enough to catch your breath and back to business. Minimal and Techno purists gather around to hear what 11thV has to say.

RIM015 – Chris Lake feat. Nastala “If You Knew” Rising Music
When Pete Tong says, and we quote, "We haven't had a tune like this for a while" you know you're onto something big. That's the position UK house don Chris Lake finds himself in as he prepares to release his latest smash, 'If You Knew'.

After the success of his titanic hit 'Changes' it was only a matter of time before the man behind the Rising Music imprint was knocking on our dance floor doors again - and it will come as no surprise to the vast majority that 'If You Knew' more than does the business.

'If You Knew' is a piano ridden, vocal infused masterpiece that builds on the original riff from 'Changes' but takes it in an entirely different direction. With an original mix that sees singer Nastala flex her vocal chords to stunning effect, and a breakdown that will have your heart pumping and your hands in the air, Chris Lake is back with a bang.

'If You Knew' goes yet another step in cementing the status of Chris Lake as one of the most important producers and artists of his generation, and a master of his craft.

Javi Lopez? Have you ever heard of him? Maybe not, but after this EP sweeps the dance floor, you better believe that he'll be on the tip of everyone's tongue. Union is proud to have Javi debut some of the HOTTEST of his tracks with us. Not only is Javi bringing the heat, we also have 2 scorching remixes from Union vet, Dope Freq'n'c as well as Sexual Chocolate! I didn't think these tracks could get any hotter until Sexual Chocolate laced us up with some SICK TECH HOUSE MADNESS. Dope Freq'n'c also proved he still has that funk in him after his sick remix of Party Life (check that out if you haven't already.). Now he's back on deck with another ill-afied track. This whole EP has got monster sound, so don't sleep on it! These are the beats to stock pile before the WMC rolls our way. Attack the Wack with the Jackin Party EP, and keep that party slammin!

With today's techno often being minimal, synthetic and dry...it's quite refreshing to hear something that gets the floor really moving...check em all and keep it techno!!!

Techno De Ultra Tumba is the first project from Kid Perra for Difusion Records. Kid Perra are two talented artists from San Luis Potosi, Mexico who were destined to make music together. This was a very interesting project which was sent to us a few months back and put on hold to be structured and mastered due to the high content of fat bass lines, deep kicks and strong sequences. We find a very intense dark side on all four tracks, dark minimal techno 100 % dance floor oriented. This four-tracker has been extracted from Kid Perra live sets which have received rave reviews all over Mexico. Zarbeat has collaborated on this EP and also remixed Mascador De Fierro showing his dark side.

Angel Alanis and Foursquare - "Drama Club"

Angel Alanis and Foursquare's track "Drama Club" has had a life of it's own as of late. Recorded during the summer, the piece has found new fanbase after a couple of high profile rebirths. Dropped by Dave Clarke at the peak of I Love Techno 2008 (and on White Noise Radio) and now recharted by Ken Ishii, this track seems to be everywhere. You can download it from Beatport at Beatport!. Check it out and see what fans like Laurent Garnier, DJ FEX, Xpansul and more are raving about!
