NS006 – AC Slater “Rock It Out” Nightshifters – ELECTRO
"Nightshifters are proud to present the latest EP by one of the world's most exciting new producers: AC Slater! Named by both XLR8R Magazine and Beatport as one of the artists to watch in 2009, his tracks have been finding their way onto radio playlists on stations like UK's Radio 1 and Kiss 100, and into DJ sets of people like Sinden, Moby, Crookers, Drop the Lime, and Steve Aoki. ""Rock It Out"" is AC Slater's follow up to the chart topping ""Jack Got Jacked"" EP released in fall 2008. Rock It Out comes loaded with 4 massive tunes with 2 major remixes. "No Party For Old Men" is a wikkid Brooklyn-bass smasher, "Night Shift" will keep 'em up till 8am, "Rock It Out" is a proven crowd pleaser and "Hello" is a dubstep tune to be ranked up there with the kings of the scene! Remixes of the title tune by London's Scott Cooper who slows it down and gives it a funky clean feel and Chicago's club price, Rob Threezy who gets down and dirty with the bass!"

Receiving support from DJs: Armand Van Helden, Dave Clarke, Ben Sims, Crystal Method, Tommie Sunshine, DJ Dan, Charles Feelgood, Ursula 1000, DJ Bam Bam, Shir Khan, DJ Cat NYC, Heavy Grinder, Aaron-Carl, Rooster & Peralta, Jake Childs, Chris Santiago, Prince Money (The Highness Blog), TJR, Ibiza Global Radio, Ibiza Sonica Radio, Noah Levine (XLR8R, Urb), Kero, Angel Alanis, Mark S. Pete Tong's March edition of his acclaimed Bedroom Bedlam series is a proper 8 track selection including a bit of electro house, progressive beats and minimal attitude. We say it every time but if Tong see's fit to pick these up for his own label you know there must be something there.

RCP016 – Mossmoss “Self Control EP” RaceCarProductions – TECHNO

Mossmoss brings a breath of fresh air to a club scene that is usually bent on taking itself too seriously. Scottish born, Mattie Bowen has been essential in the growth of techno and actively inspires audiences through art visually and aurally. His pursuits all deeply exude a level of class, compassion, and charisma. His own breed of minimal techno born from the bedrooms and studios of San Francisco offers a hint of a vast repertoire to come that inspires the mind and body simultaneously. Mossmoss was one of three artists featured on Race Car Productions Volume 1, their virgin effort. Since then he released an absolute powerhouse of a remix for Monocle's Dilleniidae which stole dancefloors the world over in 2007. With a wide open career in both art and music, and a new EP on Alland Byallo's NLMX net label, Mossmoss will become a household name.
