PP017 – Marcelo Tag “The Broken Harted” Prosthetic Pressings – TECHNO/MINIMAL/TECH-HOUSE
Over the last several years, Marcelo Tag has become a very well-known name in the Italian clubbing scene with DJ appearances across Italy and beyond and now he joins the Prosthetic Pressings family. Marcelo is equally familiar behind the decks and in the studio, where working with live instruments is one of his specialties. You will see this once you give The Broken Harted a listen and experience the guitars.

Following up the original, we enlisted the aid of Scotland's own Gary Beck, and man did he deliver a proper dancefloor destroyer! Gary has been on fire as of late with support from several of today's top jocks including Josh Wink, Dubfire, Chris Liebing, Len Faki, Slam and Hawtin. His first release came out on the Philly label, Worship Recordings and since then he has released on labels like Minus, Soma, Edit Select, Figure, Perc Trax and his very own Bek-Audio.

Rounding out the package, we leave Scotland and take a trip over to Brazil where we meet up with the head honcho of the incredible iNminimax Records, awesome producer/DJ and all around nice guy, Gabriel Boni. His mix of The Broken Harted rides a very fine edge between house and techno which slowly builds until unleashing a full on funked out jam.

IM043 – Various Artists “The Magic Test EP” Impact Mechanics – TECHNO
Continuing the string of classy releases is this hot 4-track EP collaboration from mega label's Kombination Research and Impact Mechanics. This EP is truly amazing! The Advent and Industrialyzer kick things off with Magic Test which utilizes chunky beats, glitchy analog stabs and a big, round fat bottom end - an absolute DESTROYER. Trippy synths, rolling beats and a tension that rises and engulfs anything and everything in its path, just the way we like it.

The immensely talented duo from Chicago and Austria better known as Submerge and Virgil Enzinger created Sublime. With their drop dead chunky beats, lush analog keys and a bassline thick enough to cut with a knife, this is a quality track that will please both the hard and minimal crowds alike.

Also on the bill is Angel Alanis who has reworked his anthem, Drum Rehab! This remix of a classic is a mesmerizing ass-shaking techy monster, complete with massive bassline, silky smooth keys and a compelling drum track. It does the business.

Mark Verbos rounds out the package with Pressure Rhythm which is a gritty, rocking track with a ton of ass-shaking flavor. This is a straightforward hard drum track with driving beats, fierce grinding stabs, head-bobbing rhythms, thick bass, and a ton of quirky, electrified synth stabs. Rocking stuff that is destined for the top of the charts! Quality EDM from front to back.

The track was also remixed by Sascha Barth, who has releases on Cirle music, Harthouse and has worked with several of today's top artists. UNION018 – Magors “Do I Move You” Union Recordings – HOUSE
In this installment of the Union Recordings saga, we are bringing to you 2 brand new producers. Our first debut artist goes by the name of Magors and his track Do I Move You has got some major sound! Do you like monster sweeps and blues? Yes? Well, you're in luck with this one. Magors has blended the sweet sounds of flute, harmonica, and blues guitar on top of a tech house beat and a vocal that sets this track off just right. To get another spin on these sounds we've called on another Union new comer, Chris Robson, for the remix. Both tracks have got the bluesy house vibe that will keep the dance-floor moving into the wee hours of the morn. This isn't even the best part. Tommy Largo was such a hit with the last Union remix, we decided to call on his deep house talents one more time for this EP. If you are unfamiliar with this Tommy's talents, check out his production work on this remix. We keep the quality high and the volume even higher!

IM040 – Audio Injection “Interface Activated” Impact Mechanics – TECHNO
Audio Injection is making serious moves in 2009, and this newest original production shouldn't do anything but continue to build his reputation. Aside from the fact that I loved the last release "Cell Injection" Audio Injection provided Impact Mechanics with Three appealing tracks. A colossal, slice of driving techno, while "Ministax" is a similarly dance floor destroyer. "Freak the box" leads off the B Side with a strenuous, straight techno killer, featuring underlying beats, sinister bassline and wicked undertones. The EP wraps up with featured track "Interfaced Activated", a hard percussion affair, with a long tension building breakdown and ton of rugged flavor. Class material all around.

Feedback:
Richie Hawtin - download for R Hawtin
Dubfire – Excellent! Download.
alex bau - nice one!
Tony Senghore - Quality techno all around.
Technasia – excellent
Chris Udoh - Slick Tech house For the big room !!
Aleksij - Nice ep! Will play out all the tunes!
DJ Hyperactive - West Coast is on ya!
Angel Alanis - Good work. will play!

RCP021 – Teef “Dirt” RaceCarProductions – TECHNO
Born in Scotland in 1985, Andrew Bowen (Teef) was influenced by the early electronic sound of the UK which led him to start making music at the early age of 16 using a program called Acid Pro. He then cycled through many genres including Drum and Bass and IDM. Finally he settled on the sounds of techno, specifically the sound of Sweden and stripped down minimal. His music relies on soaring basslines and addictive and catchy melodies. Moreover, he is inspired by charting his own path. He delights in finding his own sounds and his own styles. Teef now resides in Ohio and has just made the move to Race Car Productions. His introduction is a new remix of Evan Scott's Onosphere set to release in late November; however, his first single entitled The Substitute is ready and being played by a select few to great review. We welcome Teef, our muse, to the label and expect him to forge new paths and keep everyone guessing.

Feedback:
laurent garnier - great tripy acidic monster ep will play a lot
Dubfire - Excellent
michel de hey - nice oldskool with new flavour

DTX057 – Bear Who? “The Beat Box Remixed” Dust Traxx Chicago – HOUSE
Bear Who? That man behind international hit "Fix My Sink" which hit the UK billboard & BBC radio charts for 13 straight weeks, brings his next HUGE collection of future hits entitled "The Beat Box Remixed" to the Chicago based house label Dust Traxx, which in the course of 10 years has managed to release some of the biggest cuts in house music today. "The Beat Box Remixed" is a collection of "futuristic" digital-only remixes from a collection of some of today's hottest artists including Paul Johnson, Gene Farris, Blakkat, Swirl People, Vernon & Dacosta and several others. It's seduction without romance, penetration without pretense, this is the future sound of hip hop with a house edge, let's face it "sweat" (aka sex) sells and that is exactly what you'll get here. Mind crushing pop music from beyond. This is dance music with no boundaries, no limits and it dares to go where most haven't dared to explore; the result: infectious hooks and contagious rhymes make this a release to remember!

IM039 – Bas Mooy “Like A Virgin EP” Impact Mechanics – TECHNO
Like a Virgin EP from the US-based Impact mechanics label. Bas Mooy kicks things off with chunky beats, glitchy analog stabs and a big, round fat bottom end - just the way we like it! This release brings us the immensely talented Boris Ross, Virgil Enzinger and Impact owner Submerge transplant all these talented artist with there drop dead stunning re-rub of Like a Virgin and you have a hit. You have to love the glitchy, clicky, grinder from this release. Like a Virgin is a collaboration between Dubfire, meets Richie Hawtin. The entry here is a simple, minimal techno bomb, complete with subtle rhythms, heavy bassline and a ton of underlying tension. SB003 – Eskimo Twins “Red Triangle EP” Street Beats – ELECTRO HOUSE
We're really excited about this release, and pleased to have Eskimo Twins on board - a talented duo from Leeds who are making some big waves in the scene. When I first heard lead track Red Triangle it instantly reminded me of certain records that got me into dj'ing & dance music in the first place - I can hear elements of classic tracks like Bambaata's Planet Rock, Hashim's Al Naafiysh and Cybotron's Clear...the pioneering electro sound of the 80's, the Street Sounds Era. Red Triangle...a record for breakdancers & nu-wave ravers in equal measures, and we love it.

On the flipside, Insidious grabs you by the throat and gives you a swift kick in the goolies, a heavy-ass rock n rave track (as much as i hate to use that phrase). Eskimo Twins write fantastic hooks & melodies, dark and sometimes off-key & spooky, but it just works. To me this track screams Justice beats with Queens of the Stone Age vocal & melody...praise indeed. Remixes come from another fast-rising electro startlet in the shape of Jo Kira, who takes elements of Red Triangle and turns out a firing tech-houser with phat tribal drums and bags of B.O.U.N.C.E...one for the Space terrace. Insidious gets a right rollocking big-room makeover from Mr Reliable also known as Hostage...someone who has been on our radar and doing good things for several years now...Booom.

Eskimo Twins can be seen playing live up & down the UK and in Ibiza throughout summer. Also look out for further productions on the new Wax:On label and Pieces of Eight Records.

Radio / Club DJ support from:
Zane Lowe - “Love the Insidious record!”
Annie Mac - “Hostage & Jo Kira mixes in my club sets, great stuff!”

Annie Nightingale, Eddie Temple Morris, Boys Noize, Fake Blood, DJ Feadz, DJ Mehdi, Tom Findlay (GA), Herve, Alex Metric, Alfredo, Danny Rampling, Erol Alkan, Justin Robertson, Mark Moore, Gildas (Kitsune), Beni (Kitsune).
